Overview / Indications

Dianabol (methandrostenolone) is a synthetic anabolic-androgenic steroid (AAS), derived from testosterone, that was specifically made for quick results in muscle mass and strength. Dianabol was created in the 1950’s by CIBA Pharmaceuticals. Dianabol is a C17-alpha akylated oral steroid that has significant anabolic activity and moderate androgenic activity. While Dianabol was FDA approved for osteoporosis and pituitary deficient dwarfism, it is currently a Schedule III controlled substance in the United States now, and available only through uniquely qualified medical authorities and plan for a very specific therapeutic indications.

Mechanism of Action

Methandrostenolone has a moderate degree of affinity to bind to androgen receptors (AR) and in turn stimulates transcriptional changes leading to even greater protein synthesis and nitrogen retention. Methandrostenolone shows approximately 40-60% of the androgenic activity as testosterone, and 90-210% of testosterone’s anabolic activity (PMID: 15248788). H3: Pharmacodynamics & Pharmacokinetics

Dosing & Administration

Primary dosing protocols:

Medical: 2.5-5mg/day

Performance: 15-50mg/day

Beginner protocol: 10-20mg/day for 4-6 weeks

Advanced: 30-50 mg/day

Administration remarks:

Take with food to mitigate GI effects

Split dosing and take 2-3 times a day

Morning supplements align with cortisol.

Duration of treatment:

Maximum continuous duration: 6-8 weeks

Required off-cycle duration: Equal to cycle

Post-cycle therapy (PCT) requires initiation.
